We all have questions that we want answered. Often, though, we don’t know where to look–what sources are reliable–and we don’t want to be caught asking a “dumb question.” Many would say that there is no such thing as a dumb question. I don’t know that I would go that far. But quite honestly, if you are truly asking a question about your faith, God, the Scriptures, it can hardly be called dumb. In fact, these are the questions that are most important in life. And let me encourage you with this, there is an answer!
Pastor Trey and I don’t want you to be one of those individuals who are afraid to ask your questions. I often tell those who come by the office, one of my favorite parts of the pastorate is getting to sit down with our members and answer their questions. It is that to which I have given my life. God has blessed Pastor Trey and I with the ability to serve Him vocationally. This means that we get to answer your questions on your time.
One of the things that we have learned is that many people have the same questions. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was one centralized location where you could find the answers to some of those questions. Don’t get me wrong, we will answer the same questions all day if you bring them to us–no bother at all–but as we launch our new church website we will be adding a new feature called the “Pastor’s Collective.” Here you can find answers from Pastor Trey, myself, and other featured guests regarding all the questions we collect from the congregation. We would love for one of your questions to be featured on the blog.
Here’s how it works. If you have a question that you would like for us to answer, simply go to the “Contact Us” tab at the top of the page, and send an email to the church. We will review your question and make a blog post out of it. We hope that this will be a feature that serves the church and beyond well. We love you all and we love your questions. Send them in for all to benefit!
